Making Waves

Surf's up with this manicure! This set is focused on the ocean waves and the treasures you may find in the sea.  The thumb and middle finger focus on the treasures, whereas, the rest of the fingers are all about the waves and water.  This set is all about texture!  I hoped to capture the light reflections and flowing nature of water using mermaid powders and 3d gels.  I included embellishments of golden shells, star fish, and a sun along with,  white pearls with gold micro beads to further celebrate the ocean and it's treasures.  The pinky is a little special.  I tried to create an effect of looking down through the water and seeing a glimpse of some coral formations underneath.  If you look closely, I think I did just that : )

I recommend longer nail sizes to make sure there is enough room for all the features of this manicure.  Shorter ones will work just fine but I will not be able to fit all features shown here.

Materials: 100% Gel (strong and glossy)
Elements: Hand painted. Neutral, medium blue, and milky white/white gel polish.  Used texturizing gels to create shell and water effects, cat-eye gel for the pinky water effect.  Gold and pearl embellishments.
